Hello, I'm Megan Fritz, a graphic design student at Bowling Green State University, where I have earned a spot on the Dean's List for the Fall 2023-Fall 2024 semesters. I also received the Eugene Fenn Endowed Scholarship from the School of Art in the 2025 Spring Semester.
I have interned at Magna Visual and Insideout Home Recreation, where I've gained valuable experience collaborating with others and working with clients. My work focuses on creating sleek, professional designs with a fun, energetic twist. Additionally, my work is often inspired by my interests and hobbies, such as my music taste and love of football!
This project was for the BGSU's Intro to Graphic Design course and
focused on creating a symbol that could be used on a movie
poster with the given prompt. These posters use the prompt "duck," where
three different symbols were created based on the word: a bullet, a
rubber duck, and a duck print.
This manifesto booklet was created for the BGSU's Information Design course. Its
central theme is perfectionism and its relationship to graphic design. Each page
is designed to reflect the subject matter, so pages that discuss
breaking through perfection have more distorted and creative layouts.
This slide deck, created for the BGSU's Information Design course, highlights the
process of playing Fantasy Football. The overall design features bright colors and
a friendly mascot to help teach beginners the basics of playing
in a Fantasy Football League.
This poster was designed outside of class and combines my passion for
football and graphic design. The poster features Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and
the team's iconic color scheme.
This monogram, using the letters "M" and "F," this monogram was created
for the BGSU's Typography course. Its main objective was to create a
fun and playful design. The design incorporates various repeated elements to give
it a three-dimensional look and enhance its playfulness.
This poster was created as a design practice exercise referencing a local
coffee shop, Queen Bee & Honey. The poster features the shop's focal point,
its coffee cart, and a color scheme that complements its organic
and natural aesthetics.
These icons were created for the BGSU's Intro to Graphic Design course and
are based on three emotions: energetic, greedy, and joyful. Each icon was
designed to abstractly represent one of these three emotions, with each color
and design element chosen based on research.
This poster was created for BGSU's Information Design Course. The project's goal
was to research a historical figure, in this case, Billy Joel, and
design a poster that encapsulates him as a person. The title "Piano Man"
and many other design elements are small references to Billy Joel, helping
to wrap up his massive career in one concise poster.
